Ank studied Communication and Art History at the University of Amsterdam, where she developed a strong interest in the dialogue between art and the way we talk about it. For her, art is not just something to look at, but something to experience and share with others. She enjoys creating spaces where people can connect with art in a more personal and emotional way.
Her favourite subject: Rembrandt. She calls him Remmie, but only among intimi. A specialist in the seventeenth century, Ank feels most at home in the Rijksmuseum, or in the prestigious Six Collection, where she is a beloved guide.
Founding Amor Artium together with Florentine feels like a dream come true, bringing together her love for art, storytelling, and connecting with people through meaningful experiences.
